3 day week

I'm in office just for 3 days this week out of which one gets over today. Despite this I had to force myself to work today. God Save me! A few more days with such an attitude towards work and I'm gone!

Anyone got a "Motivation to work Tonic" - please pass on!

Some days are queer! I mean what the heck - everything that was fine also had to go wrong today and worst of all repeatedly!

I'm amazed at how I can spoil a perfectly nice day!

If ever somebody needs advice on how to goof up at all ends parallely - please contact me! I'm wonderful at it!

God Please Help Me!

Breezers

Baccardi Breezers are cool! Why didn't I know about these earlier?
Anyway could only try out their Lemon flavour the other day, due to my wonderful throat condition :-( The others look interesting too.

Anyway, have just about begun planning my Diwali vacation - I hope I can make it and take a break and get out of Pune for a few days at least! I'm planning a relaxing vacation where I could at least get to read 3-4 books and cover my sleep backlog for a year :-)

My beautiful old house :-)

Our company is celebrating 15 years at a venue that has very fond memories attached with it for me. Not that I lived there at any point of time, but I was a frequent visitor since many of my friends lived there. But just the mention of Bombay Sappers reminds me of Ordnance Estate where I spent the first 22 years of my life.

My dad being in the ammunition factory and being one of the lucky one's to not get transferred frequently, we had the pleasure of living in a bungalow built by British for this long. It was huge and located in an area, which was pollution free, and the roads were a pleasure to walk on. It was just a beautifully lazy place with no traffic - just residents seen around. Most roads were beautiful - like the Hills View road which was a sweet sloped road we used to run on, and the riverside road, a round one with the Mula river flowing besides it. That's where I learnt driving and it was the road we always walked on when we had something really long to discuss - since it was round so we never had to turn back :-) That was also the most visited road during our courtship days!

Our garden was so huge, and my dad an ardent garden-lover spent at least 3 hrs everyday and we had at least 2-3 vegetables growing at any point of time. He also planted so many onions every year that we didn't have to buy any! In fact, I studied most of the time in my garden! ;-)

The Ordnance Club our evening adda everyday, had the most number of stories associated with it. Though it was meant for sports and cultural activities, I think it was more famous for teen heart beats, breaks & joins :-)

Gosh i get completely nostalgic when I think of that place. Coming from there to a 3 room apartment with 1 tiny balcony, was a very rude shock, that I guess I'm not yet over. I hate apartments and I'm not rich enough to buy a place even remotely resembling my old house.

Even now I love to just drive by there and have a peek at my old house - don't know how many more years it will see before they break it down and construct a modern apartment!

Listening to cool music when you aren't feeling well, does make you feel a shade better.
Today's favourite: Suno na from Jhankaar Beats.
