sincere piece of advice for myself - stay away from office and all official emails the day you decide to take a day off!

there are various email styles that people have - some just write an email and never follow up if the action is not done - most will send you a reminder since many many people forget to respond. However there's one of it's kind that I have come across - initially it was irritating but now it's so predictable and hilarious. So this category is those people who sit an extension away - communicate anything and everything over an email - so what's new you may say - lots of such people around who prefer email over voice communication irrespective of the physical distance. No that is really normal but this one I describe here is a special case - he will send you an email - but before that read out the contents to you over the phone (always!) and tell you what you are supposed to do after getting the email. End result - you cannot in any way miss the action expected from you since you are told on phone and email - but excuse me it is an overkill to use both channels all the time! But I guess it's an inbuilt style in that person - won't go easy :-)

Can a loved one make you feel uncomfortable? Theorotically I think NO, but I guess I was wrong! Just like I was about many other things too!

"Control is not leadership; management is not leadership; leadership is leadership is leadership. If you seek to lead, invest at least 50% of your time leading yourself—your own purpose, ethics, principles, motivation, conduct. Invest at least 20% leading those with authority over you and 15% leading your peers. If you don't understand that you work for your mislabeled 'subordinates,' then you know nothing of leadership. You know only tyranny." — Dee HockFounder and CEO EmeritusVISA International

Tomorrow I'll be moving to the fourth workspace (all in the same wing!) in 5 years. Due to my laziness in this arena I haven't unpacked my stuff from the previous move as yet - that was a month back. So laziness does help sometimes! I had begun liking the current space a lot now - but have to move - no choice.

80% of what you do may or may not get noticed - but 20% of what you do not do will definitely be noticed, highlighted and remarked upon. Is this the only way for constant improvement?

Moving on...

I've decided to move my blog from being a personal to a not-so personal blog. Mainly thoughts analysis theories whatever but no personal references - just general thoughts. Reason: No specific reason, just changing moods and feel that it would be better value for myself :-)
